Superior Conditioning Technique

Moco Working

Optimum conditioning in all crops, all conditions

Thorough conditioning, faster drydown
Conditioning Diagram

Conditioning has as much (or more) impact on overall forage quality as cutting:

Crop rubs against itself and against the specially designed conditioning hood, which scuffs the entire stem. This allows moisture to escape faster, producing quicker drying, higher quality forage.

You can adjust rotor speed, conditioning intensity, and windrow width to perfectly match changing field conditions.

Steel Tines

Steel tines are significantly stronger than plastic tines for more positive pickup and faster field speeds. The V-shaped tines work like fingers, picking up crop and moving it to the conditioner. The tines swing freely to reduce damage from rocks or other obstructions.

Conditioning rolls (available on 324 and 1465 Models) provide thorough crop conditioning. Rolls stay straight for even conditioning across the width of the machine.

John Deere conditioning preserves the nutrients in the plants to substantially improve forage quality.
