A John Deere front-mounted mower-conditioner models offer the increased manoeuvrability you need for small or odd-shaped fields. Add a front-mounted model to your pull-type mower-conditioner and you can virtually double your productivity ... and cut up to 7 hectares or more per hour.
A 131/1365 combination lets you cut as wide as 6.1 m in a single pass. Add a grouper to the 1365 and turn the 6.1 m cut into a single windrow or twin windrows 2.3 m, which is the perfect width for a John Deere 630A Forage Harvester pick-up.
The trapezium suspension allows the mower-conditioner to float over uneven ground contours. Suspension springs on the 228A maintain constant down pressure on the cutting bed.
The 131 Front-mounted model features hydropneumatic suspension for even more responsive and reliable flotation. The machine automatically lifts up to follow contours or compensate for soft ground, letting you work at faster field speeds with confidence.
The 131 lets you cut 3.1 m ... but the shields fold in to allow a transport width less than 3 m.
