| John Deere X 304 a strong Performer |

A John Deere X 304 lawn tractor outperformed six competitive products in a long term mulching equipment test of the German trade magazine “Familienheim & Garten” (family home and garden). The machines were tested during the entire 2007 summer season under diverse working conditions, i.e. in small yards, in hilly landscapes and even in city parks. With a total score of 1.26, the X 304 outperformed the next competitor by 0.38 points, the remaining products were rated between 1.90 and 2.0.
Starting properties, turning radius, operator comfort, engine performance, safety features and styling of the X 304 received the highest rankings among a total of 16 different categories assessed by the jury. “The rear steering axle of the X 304 adds extra maneuverability to machine. In combination with the extra-wide cutting platform, you can ideally mow almost anywhere along fences, curbs, around shrubs and trees” says tester Gert Bagusche.
