Auger fingers play a critical role in preventing overload, which can damage the auger, platform, and feeder-house. As auger fingers are exposed to rocks and other foreign objects, it’s important that they can cope with foreign objects or that they break instead of bending to prevent serious damage to the auger.
Our auger fingers feature a breakaway groove, permitting them to break at a specific point and fall back into the auger drum to prevent platform damage.
