PowerGard for New John Deere Combines - Plan A
Protection Plan A is for machines still covered under the John Deere basic warranty period. Customers can purchase during the Grace Period (first 95 days / 100 hours) for the lowest possible price. Customers can wait and purchase the PowerGard Protection in the Delayed Purchase Period (after the Grace period, but up to 12 months / 1000 hours (engine hours)) for a 20 percent surcharge.

Comprehensive Full-Machine coverage options are available only on new units, and for the specific 24 and 36 total month options highlighted above with the *.
This Comprehensive (full machine) coverage form carries a $250 deductible per work order, while the Limited (engine & powertrain) coverage carries a $500 deductible per work order. New units sold with the Comprehensive full machine coverage form in the Delayed Purchase Period (shown in the graph above), will also have to pass the PowerGard Inspection/Certification process with complete fluid testing.
Eligible Models
PowerGard for Pre-Owned John Deere Combines - Plan B
Pre-Owned John Deere combines are eligible if they are PowerGard Certified, have less than 1,500 engine hours, and are less than six years old. Plan B is only available on used combines in the dealership inventory at the time of sale. Plan B coverage options start from the date of delivery by the dealership.

PowerGard Certification
The PowerGard Certification process is a 100+ point combine inspection. This is performed by your authorized John Deere dealership service technician.
