Current ExhibitsThe exhibits at the John Deere Pavilion have captivated guests of all ages. From our antique tractors and giant combines to our interactive, touch-screen displays and feature films, you will find a variety of entertainment opportunities, each with a strong educational twist.
The antique and modern equipment changes often and computer exhibits are updated or replaced entirely to provide guests with ever-changing experience.
Interactive Exhibits Currently on Display:
- Kid's Corner: Designed to teach the youngest guests about the world of agriculture, offering fun and interactive opportunities to make children's visits more special. The exhibit features a seed table displaying a variety of seeds grown globally, a machine shed where All About John Deere videos are shown, two stations for photo opportunities featuring a tractor and vegetables and a six-foot row of corn so children can see what corn looks like up close. A craft area offers an opportunity for children to color pictures and tell their own John Deere stories and their work can be displayed on a specially-designed barbed wire fence.
- Horizon: The widescreen interactive kiosk, "On The Horizon," features new trends and emerging issues of importance to John Deere customers and the public at large. Currently playing is an in-depth exploration of "Energy for the Future," including reports on fuels from renewable resources and wind generated electricity.
- As a salute to the dedicated work of farm families worldwide, John Deere proudly presents Anthem: A Song of the Land. Anthem is featured at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL, where it is presented in high definition format.
- Cornucopia: This food exhibit allow a guest to see how a seed is planted, grown, cared for, harvested, and eventually, how it ends up on the dinner table.
- Future: This exhibit's four computer stations are devoted to future population growth, sustainability, biotechnology and precision farming practices and the role they will play in our future.
- The Past: Tells the story of farming from 1830 to the year 2000, including details about how farms operated during different periods of time and what machinery and equipment were used.
