U.S. Army's Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program
To attract and retain the best and brightest employees, Deere & Company participates in the PaYS program. The program encourages Army recruits to be trained in certain skills needed by John Deere. Prior to leaving the military, these soldiers are given priority assessment for John Deere jobs. All John Deere U.S. manufacturing operations participate in the program, which targets production jobs, as well as skilled trades positions, tool and die operators and product development specialists.
