Community Betterment

John Deere supports the communities where we have major operating units and employee presence to make them more attractive places to live, work and operate a business.

John Deere Foundation
The John Deere Foundation contributes to growth and improvement in these communities by supporting organizations working in the areas of human services, community development, and arts and culture.

Community Relations in the Quad Cities
The company supports not-for-profit organizations through community relations donations and event sponsorships.

In the Quad Cities, where the Deere & Company World Headquarters is located, we are a major employer and thus, work to help the region to thrive.

Corporate Lease Program
John Deere provides leases on some equipment to select not-for-profit organizations to help maintain their grounds. Often, leased equipment is a component of a broader philanthropic package. The organizations use the equipment to maintain grounds at locations such as:

  • Living History Farms, Urbandale, Iowa
  • National 4-H Headquarters, Chevy Chase, Maryland
  • Niabi Zoo, Coal Valley, Illinois
