FRONTIER EQUIPMENT ADDS LONGER SICKLE-BAR MOWER TO LINEUP
LENEXA, Kansas (JULY 10, 2009) Frontier Equipment introduces the new SB3108 Sickle-Bar Mower with a longer cutterbar for increased mowing capacity.
"Frontier's SB3108 Sickle-Bar Mower has all the same great features and benefits as the current SB11 Series, but has a longer cutterbar to get the job done faster," says Michael Horrell, Frontier marketing manager. "The new mower has a 92-inch (7-ft. 8-in.) cutting swath. This is more than 23 inches of additional cutting width than what was previously offered on the SB11 Series."
The mower's cutting arm ensures a ground-level cut by flexing from 75 to 90 degrees and will handle the most challenging terrain and forage-cutting conditions. The cutting height on the mower is easily set with adjustable skid shoes on the cutterbar.
"The PTO-powered sickle bar on the SB3108 is belt driven with a manual tension adjustment for maximum cutting efficiency," adds Horrell. "The bolt-on cutterbar knives can be individually removed and replaced quickly in the field to save customers time and money."
The SB3108 Sickle-Bar Mower is compatible with 25- to 50-horsepower tractors.
