LESCO INTRODUCES 2010 COMMERCIAL MOWING LINEUP
Seven New Walk-Behind and Stand-On Machines Offer Dependability and Value
LENEXA, Kansas (October 29, 2009)— Designed specifically for the needs of the landscape professional, LESCO's 2010 commercial mowing lineup includes seven new machines: three durable gear-drive walk-behinds, two easy-to-use hydro-drive walk-behinds and two highly maneuverable, stand-on zero-turn mowers.
"Whether a landscaper needs a quick and maneuverable stand–on ZTR or an easy-to-use walk-behind with loop handle controls and a choice of rugged fixed-deck configurations, there is a machine in the LESCO lineup for him or her," said Ken Taylor, CLP, channel integration manager. "The 2010 LESCO lineup offers ideal products for the commercial operator who demands quality, reliability and world-class support while keeping an eye on the bottom line."
All of LESCO's mowers feature seven-gauge fabricated steel decks and Kawasaki V-Twin engines. In addition, the stand-on zero-turn mowers feature dual-lever direction and speed controls and a 1.5-inch to 4.5-inch height-of-cut adjustment. They also offer superior maneuverability and reduced turf compaction.
"A stand-on ZTR is a great choice for landscaping pros who maintain detailed landscaped properties that take 35 minutes or less to cut and who transport from site to site," said Taylor. "Our zero-turn has an ergonomic design for reduced operator fatigue and offers excellent visibility and great traction, since the operator stands directly over the tires."
The gear-drive and hydro-drive walk-behinds both feature electric PTO clutch engagement. Gear-drive mowers have a five-speed, seven-spline transmission and pistol grip controls, which allow operators to release thumb latches by simply squeezing the brake levers. The hydro-drive mowers have hydro-gear dual pumps and easy-to-use loop handle controls, which ensure excellent maneuverability.
"With the loop handle controls, the hydro-drive walk-behind operates like a zero-turn machine," said Taylor.
Because LESCO understands that productivity is key to any professional landscaping operation, the entire 2010 lineup has been designed to be dependable, efficient and easy to use. It is also backed by a best-in-class, two-year warranty and John Deere's superior dealer network.
"We're very proud of the 2010 mowers," said Taylor. "Our customers trust us to provide the best products at the best prices, and these machines won’t disappoint."
