Five ratings from the John Deere PowerTech M and PowerTech E engine lineups meet Interim Tier 4 and Stage III A emissions regulations without the addition of an exhaust filter.
PowerTech M 2.4L and PowerTech E 2.4L engines both feature a 2-valve cylinder head, fixed-geometry turbocharger, and 500-hour oil change intervals. The PowerTech M 2.4L engine features a mechanical unit pump fuel system and is turbocharged. The PowerTech E 2.4L engine features full authority electronic engine controls, an electronic unit pump fuel system, and is air-to-air aftercooled.
